Urban Farming/New Technologies

It all began in the summer of 2023 when Diego Bazan was introduced to the world of urban farming. After teaching at a local STEM camp, an employee at the IWillMentorshipFoundation offered him the opportunity to help build and create an urban farm in downtown Fort Myers. The city had granted the lot with a meaningful purpose: to provide fresh produce to a community struggling with food insecurity. Diego was inspired, and decided to take action. ​

From that moment on, the Urban Farming/New Technologies club has been committed to helping the community though diverse methods.(e.g teaching future generations and volunteering at different Urban Farms). They also take pleasure in deepening their understanding of their passion!
