January 18th 2025: Canterbury School Chapter volunteers continue to shine @ IWMF's Urban Farm in downtown Fort Myers!🚜

Updated: Mar 15

On a cool, windy Saturday, members of the Urban Farming/New Technologies club were at I Will Mentorship Foundation's Urban Farm. It was quite the turnout, and there were about 30 volunteers in attendance. The Urban Farm they were working on was sustainable, and the land it was on was granted by the city. The group of volunteers worked with the employees of the farm and were given multiple tasks. Some were focused on harvesting the collard greens, others were working in the hydroponics station, and the rest took care of maintaining the farm. The group was able to learn valuable information and apply it to this volunteering event. The employees appreciate the Canterbury Chapter's hard work and appreciate that they keep coming to help! Keep up the amazing Urban Farming Volunteering!
